Tips for Defrosting Your Vehicle’s Windows.

Dos:

• Remote Start Your Vehicle: Remote start your vehicle 10-15 minutes before you leave. This will allow your vehicle to warm up and make defrosting your windows easier. Always remote start your vehicle in a properly ventilated area and allow for ample room around it. Check your vehicle's owner’s manual to learn more about this feature and the safety precautions. Most newer model-year vehicles have a remote start feature. Spray your frosted/iced windows generously.

• Window Scraper: If you are in a rush, you can always use the tried and true window scraper to remove frost and ice.

• Do not pour hot water on your windows. This can cause significant damage to your vehicle’s windows. 
• Do not drive until the front and rear windshields are completely defrosted and you can visibly see the road.
