Get Even More Out of Your Next Toyota

Maybe you just got a promotion, maybe your starter car just drove its last mile, or maybe you decided to just go for it because you deserve something better; whatever the reason, now may be the time to upgrade your ride from the base level to the next level. Toyota offers tons of reasons to spring for the higher trim level, and Heritage Toyota Catonsville, Harrisburg & Owings Mills is here with the details.

Toyota makes vehicles for everyone from compact coupes to trail-ready trucks and everything in between. Every model offers different upgradable features for the various trim levels. Some may offer more power while others offer more comfort. Here are just a few of the ways car buyers can upgrade with Toyota:

Entune™ 3.0 Audio Upgrades

Modern Toyota models come equipped with the latest version of the automaker’s exclusive infotainment suite called Entune™ 3.0. At the base level, Entune 3.0 Audio with App Suite comes standard with a high-definition LCD touch screen in the vehicle’s dashboard. Drivers and passengers can control the system using this touch screen or using the vehicle’s hands-free voice recognition or steering wheel controls. Entune also includes Bluetooth® connectivity for streaming audio from compatible devices, as well as Apple CarPlay® and USB connections.

The next level up is Entune 3.0 Audio Plus, and it adds HD Radio™ and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (with a complimentary 3-month All Access trial subscription) and Wi-Fi Connect Powered by Verizon, which is capable of creating a wi-fi hotspot in the vehicle. Beyond that, the Premium package adds concierge services in the form of Toyota Connected Services and Dynamic Navigation with point-of-interest search, allowing drivers to search for area businesses in addition to specific addresses.

Exterior Upgrades

On many models, upgrading to premium trim levels includes better tech to help you navigate the outside environment. For example, Toyota SUVs get larger wheels and tires, and many models move up from halogen lights to high-grade LEDs in the headlights, fog lights, and taillights, including an auto on/off feature. Plus, the power outside mirrors get integrated heaters for de-icing, as well as turn signal and blind-spot warning indicators to alert the driver of another vehicle in the blind-spot when changing lanes.

Multi-zone Comfort

Single setting manual climate control is a thing of the past. When you upgrade to higher trim levels, you and your passengers will enjoy multi-zone automatic climate control. The multi-zone flexibility means that one zone, like the driver, can enjoy a completely different temperature, fan speed, and vent source setting than other zones, like the passenger or rear seats. So while the driver is enjoying 68-degree air at eye-level, the front passenger can enjoy a toasty 78 degrees warming his or her feet.

In addition, the automatic climate control system works just like the thermostat in a home. Simply set the desired temperature, and the system will cool or heat the vehicle and automatically shut off until that temperature is reached. The system will resume cooling or heating to maintain that temperature inside the vehicle as needed.
