Last Day of Class Traditions for UNC and NCSU

The last day of class is an exciting time for students. After weeks of endless papers, exams, and homework, they can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lots of schools have their own traditions to help students celebrate. Read about what UNC and NCSU have in store for students this year.

UNC

For LDOC, Chapel Hill will be having a Jubilee Festival on April 13th. It is free and open to the public and will have food, bubble soccer, live performances, and giveaways. At 6:30 the rapper 6lack will be performing in the Carmichael Arena. There will also be a drag show featuring Monique Heart on April 24th in the Union Great Hall to celebrate the actual last week of classes.

NC State

NC State celebrates their LDOC with Wolfstock, which is a large concert and includes other activities happening around campus. Live music, food trucks, and outdoor games all take place throughout the day and lead up to a concert at night. This year Walk the Moon is performing free for all NC State students.

No matter your plans for LDOC, always remember to have fun and be safe!
